Karachi warehouse blaze finally under control

The goods worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes due to fire
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Fire which erupted in a warehouse located in Nazimabad area of Karachi has been finally brought under control after a hectic efforts of eight hours.
According to details, fire broke out in a food delivery company godown situated in the basement of a building near Eidgah Ground in Nazimabad which spread very quickly and engulfed the entire building.
At least 10 fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and doused the fire after a hectic effort of eight hours. Rescue sources said that the fire tenders faced difficulties in extinguishing the blaze as smoke accumulated in the building.
No loss of life was reported in the incident. However, the goods worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes due to fire.
