19 PAS officers promoted to Grade 22

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Nineteen officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) were promoted to Grade 22 on the recommendations of the High Powered Selection Board.
Among those elevated to the highest bureaucratic rank are Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Planning & Development Board Chairman Nabeel Ahmed Awan, and Additional Chief Secretary Ahmed Raza Sarwar. Others include Federal Secretary Petroleum Division Momin Agha and Secretary Health Nadeem Mahboob.
Also, Secretary Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, Secretary Food Security Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, and Ambreen Raza were promoted, while Chairman FBR Rashid Mehmood Langrial was granted Grade 22 as well.
Meanwhile, eight officers from the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) were also promoted to Grade 22. BA Nasir, Ghulam Nabi Memon, Farooq Mazhar, Imran Yaqub Minhas, Khaliq Shaikh, Zubair Hashmi, and Tahir Rai are among those who were promoted.
Notably, Punjab Inspector General Dr Usman Anwar could not get the nod for promotion to Grade 22.
