KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has said people don’t need to be worried and disappointed over economic situation in Pakistan as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is leaving no stone unturned to bring economy back on track so that the country could stand on its feet.
Speaking at a ceremony here on Saturday, the Sindh governor said the people are the real rulers of the country, and no one could usurp their rights, adding prosperous economy will benefit the masses.
“The man who said the governor’s house will be made a university, people will be given jobs and houses never visited Karachi when he was the prime minister.
“Now, the Sindh Governor House has become a university in the sense that 50,000 children are doing IT courses in it, and those who have done their IT courses from here are earning hundreds and thousands of rupees monthly,” Kamran Tessori said.
The governor said that unemployment was the big problem of the youngsters of Karachi, adding people of Karachi were getting poorer and poorer.
“Their children don’t have excess to good hospitals for their treatment. Roads are in dilapidated condition. People of Karachi are bereft of water and other basic amenities,” the Sindh governor said, adding if they were not given their rights, he would fight for their rights.
