ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that the government will follow the agenda given by President Asif Ali Zardari in his address to parliament joint session on Monday.

Talking to Dunya News, Khawaja Asif said that President’s address was a constitutional requirement and government will follow it.

He also criticized the PTI for creating ruckus in the National Assembly during the address of President Zardari.

The defence minister also ruled out any dialogue or negotiations with the PTI.

The veteran politician added that PTI founder Imran Khan and former spymaster Faiz Hameed were responsible for terrorism inside Pakistan as they facilitated the Taliban during their tenure.

Earlier in the day, the opposition started creating ruckus as soon as President Zardari started his address during joint sitting of parliament.

The opposition raised slogans when the president started speaking. However, President Zardari continued his address.

President Zardari said it is an honour for him to address the joint session of parliament.

He stressed on working with determination for a better future of the country. “We have to promote good governance and political stability in the country. We have to work together to strengthen our democratic system,” the President continued.
