ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has called on Prime Minister to form Nation Action Plan 2 to combat rising terrorism.
Speaking to National Assembly, Bilawal stressed that national unity was crucial, warning that internal divisions were benefiting the country’s enemies.
He recalled how Pakistan had successfully crippled terrorism after the APS tragedy by prioritising national security over politics.
However, he lamented that Pakistan had lost those achievements, allowing terrorism to resurface.
Bilawal condemned all forms of terrorism and highlighted PPP’s sacrifices, including Benazir Bhutto’s assassinations.
He criticised PTI for patronizing the release of former prime minister over national security.
Calling for political consensus, he urged all parties to unite against the terrorism, stating that the terrorists have no religion or ideology, only a mission to spread fear and hinder Pakistan’s progress.
