PML-N, PPP decide to work jointly to serve people

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) decided to work jointly in Punjab.
A meeting of coordination committee of PML-N and PPP was held at Governor House, Lahore on Saturday.
The meeting was called to address the grievances of PPP regarding the coalition government of Punjab.
The development took place in the aftermath of a meeting held between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal-led PPP delegation a few days ago in Islamabad.
The ruling PML-N tried to address the concerns of PPP in Punjab.
Both the parties decided to work jointly to serve the people.
It was decided in the meeting that both the parties would sit together regularly during the first week of every month.

The next meeting of coordination committees would be held on April 12.
The sources said that PPP wants a share in the development funds of Punjab.
The meeting was hosted by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan.
Former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Syed Hassan Murtaza, Nadeem Afzal Chan and Syed Ali Haider Gilani represented the PPP.
The PML-N delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Khawaja Saad Rafique.
Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman and IG Police Dr Usman Anwar were also present on the occasion.
