APNS elects new body with Sarmad Ali as president, Naveed Kashif finance secretary

Dunya Media Group Managing Director Naveed Kashif got elected as finance secretary
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) held its Annual General Meeting and elections for the new executive committee on Saturday.
Sarmad Ali became the new president of APNS while Naz Afreen Saigol was elected as senior vice president.
Meanwhile, Athar Kazi became the APNS secretary general while Dunya Media Group Managing Director Naveed Kashif got elected as finance secretary.
Moreover, Shahab Zuberi became the vice president and Mohsin Bilal clinched the seat of joint secretary.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the newly elected office bearers.
The prime minister hoped that the newly elected office bearers will actively play their role in maintaining the high standards of journalism.
He said that the government encourages constructive criticism of media as fourth pillar of the state.
Mohsin Naqvi hoped that APNS will continue to uphold the supremacy of journalistic values.
