QUETTA (Dunya News) - The train service from Quetta to Chaman has been restored after a four-day suspension, railway officials confirmed. However, train operations from Quetta to other provinces remain suspended.

It is worth mentioning that train services were halted on March 11 following an attack on the Jaffar Express.

Mushkaf railway track declared clear

Meanwhile, railway authorities have declared the Mushkaf railway track and surrounding areas clear in Kachhi district, Balochistan.

Following the Jaffar Express attack, relief trains have been dispatched from Sibi and Machh for track repairs. Officials stated that repair work will begin today (Sunday), as the attack damaged the train’s engine and five carriages, affecting 382 feet of track.

The repair is expected to take 8 to 10 hours, with efforts underway to restore the railway service as soon as possible.
