FO lodged a strong protest over the use of Afghan soil in the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan
PAKISTAN (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Foreign Office on Monday summoned Afghan Chargé d’Affaires to lodge a strong protest over the use of Afghan soil in the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
Pakistan has demanded an explanation from Afghanistan regarding the Jaffar Express attack as the terrorists involved were in direct contact with handlers based across the Afghan border.
Sources said that Pakistan has asked Afghanistan to take action against armed groups involved in carrying out attacks on Pakistan.
Border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have risen since the Taliban returned to power as Pakistan has alleged that armed groups use Afghan soil to launch attacks.
