PAC chairman seeks records of Toshakhana since 1947

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has sought record of Toshakhana since 1947 to date, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The Public Accounts Committee reviewed the audit objection regarding the unavailability of Toshakhana records. The audit official while briefing the committee said the Toshakhana records from 1990 to 2002 were missing.
The cabinet secretary informed that all records of Toshakhana from 2002 till now had been uploaded on the website. He further said data from 1990 to 2002 might be in the archive and it would take time to arrange it.
The audit objection regarding the illegal auction of Toshakhana gifts was also reviewed. The committee also sought details of all auctions of Toshakhana gifts.
