Ex-bureaucrat, daughter offloaded for 'giving bloody nose' to flight attendant

QUETTA (Dunya News) – A former bureaucrat and his daughter were offloaded from a plane when they created quite a scene on board a flight from Quetta to Islamabad.
The daughter of former Quetta commissioner Iftikhar Jogezai allegedly exchanged words with a flight attendant, who dared ask her to fasten seatbelt and close the tray table as a matter of routine.
The passenger, Saima Jogezai, allegedly abused the airline employee and created quite a scene, prompting the captain to contact the air traffic controllers.
The captain refused to fly and took the plane back to the tarmac, where Airport Security Force (ASF) officials responded to the emergency call and took the ex-commissioner and his daughter into custody.

When the officials tried to offload the two travellers, Saima in a fit of rage punched the flight attendant, who got a bloody nose and had to be shifted to hospital.
Jogezai and his daughter earlier also misbehaved with staff before check-in.
It is learnt that the Balochistan commissioner reached the airport and asked the airline authorities to ensure reconciliation. The Civil Aviation Authority officials let the passengers go after they submitted a written apology.
The flight later took off for destination without the two passengers being aboard.
