Police and rescue teams shifted the dead bodies to hospital
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least three people lost their lives in various road accidents in different parts of Karachi on late Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the first accident occurred in Liaquatabad No 10 near Sindh Government Hospital where a trailer collided with a motorcycle, killing a man on the spot.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital. The deceased was identified as Haider Qureshi. Police have seized the trailer and have also arrested its driver.
The second accident occurred in Keamari No 1 area of Karachi where an unidentified vehicle hit a motorcycle due to over speeding, killing the motorcycle rider on the spot.
In yet another accident, a rashly driven dumper collided with a motorcycle in Johar More area as a result one person died on the spot. The identity of the deceased is not yet known.
Residents gathered at the site of the accident and torched the dumper. Police have arrested the driver of the dumper.
