Barrister Saif condemned the arrests of PTI workers in Punjab for commemorating Pakistan Day
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser, Barrister Dr. Saif, has strongly criticised the Punjab government, accusing it of continued fascist tactics even during Ramazan.
In his statement, Barrister Saif condemned the arrests of PTI workers in Punjab for commemorating Pakistan Day. He alleged that "fake princess" was issuing orders for PTI workers’ arrests from Saudi Arabia. "Last night, workers were even picked up from mosques and thrown into jails," he alleged.
"Seeing PTI rallies on Pakistan Day has terrified this fake government. The massive public turnout has stamped the ruling regime as illegitimate. On March 23, the people renewed their commitment to true independence," he said.
Barrister Saif added that the nationwide participation of PTI supporters was a referendum against the government. "From Khyber to Karachi, the people have reminded the 'form 47 mafia' of its actual standing. If this fake government has even an ounce of shame left, it should resign immediately," he asserted.
