RAWALPINDI (Dunya News): Three women were killed in a gas leak explosion in Phase 7 on Monday evening, rescue officials said.

According to authorities, another woman was found unconscious at the scene and rushed to hospital, where doctors said her condition was critical.

Officials said the blast was caused by gas leakage, which led to a sudden fire inside the house. Rescue teams moved in quickly to put out the flames and shift the victims.

Earlier the same day, a separate gas-related incident in Arifwala claimed the lives of a mother and her two young daughters, while the father suffered serious injuries.
