KARACHI (Dunya News) - The MQM has again demanded that an independent and impartial judicial commission be formed under the chairmanship of a Supreme Court judge.

More than 100 precious lives were lost in this incident. The count of missing persons should be completed, otherwise the families will not get peace, he said.
Farooq Sattar said that 30 bodies were found in a shop in Gul Plaza, where a video of the forensics being conducted should also be released. The traders of Gul Plaza suffered losses of billions of rupees.

The rescue operation at Gul Plaza continued for the ninth consecutive as search teams recovered more human remains from the debris of the collapsed building.
Rescue 1122 and Urban Search and Rescue teams are actively engaged in clearing the rubble and searching for missing persons. According to rescue officials, human remains were recovered from the third floor of the damaged structure and have been shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for DNA testing to confirm identities.
