ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday announced support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s shutter-down strike scheduled for February 8.

Speaking after meeting opposition leaders, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that PTI and JUI-F share the same stance regarding February 8.

Speaking on the occasion, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, said that they oppose terrorism in all its forms, adding that the killing of one human being is the killing of all humanity. He said that no single party can resolve the country’s problems on its own.

Meanwhile, former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that a comprehensive strategy should be adopted to counter terrorism. He said that that on February 8 they would not force anyone to join the strike.
