PTI meeting reveals proposal to expand protests nationwide, criticism over medical access, call for peaceful agitation, and demand for clear policy direction from party leadership
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - An inside account of a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) meeting has surfaced, revealing a proposal to expand the scope of protests across the country.
According to sources, criticism was voiced during the meeting over the absence of a party representative during doctors’ medical examination.
Some members once again targeted Aleema Khan with criticism.
Participants stated that when the party had nominated Qasim Zaman, he should have been allowed to attend, adding that family presence is necessary during any medical examination.
They further alleged that the government is not permitting Aleema Khan or any sister to meet.

Sources said a message from Mahmood Khan Achakzai was also shared during the meeting, in which he suggested that the protest should remain consistently peaceful.
Members said PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar should take a decision and that the party stands with him.
They termed it a political matter and called for reducing the involvement of the PTI founder’s family, noting that there is ambiguity in the protest policy.
