IG Punjab orders major reshuffle of senior police officers

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Inspector General of Punjab Police has announced a significant reshuffle in the provincial police force, issuing a notification for the transfer and posting of several senior officers across different districts.

The IG Punjab has issued a notification regarding the transfers and postings of 24 police officers.

According to the notification, Dost Muhammad has been appointed as DPO Sialkot. AIG Admin Dr Asad Ejaz Malhi has been appointed as DPO Okara, while Sajjad Hussain Khokhar has been appointed as DPO Jhang.

As per the notification, Arsalan Zahid has been appointed as DPO Nankana Sahib. SP Operations CTD Muhammad Waqar Azeem has been appointed as DPO Mianwali.

SP Special Branch Muhammad Abid has been appointed as DPO Khanewal, while Additional SP Operations Cantt Akhlaq Ullah Tarar has been appointed as DPO Toba Tek Singh.

SP Operations-1 Lahore Shafiq Ahmed Chaudhry has been appointed as DPO Jhelum, while DPO Jhelum Muhammad Tariq Aziz has been appointed as SSP Special Branch Lahore.

According to the notification, Syed Imran Karammat Bukhari has been appointed as SP Intelligence, Special Branch Lahore.
