Marriyum Aurangzeb applauds Pakistan Army's swift response to Afghan attacks

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their robust response to recent attacks from Afghanistan.

Marriyum Aurangzeb commended the military, stating that Pakistan had exercised patience and restraint to the utmost, dispelling any misconceptions that the country’s peace-oriented approach was a sign of weakness.

She noted that the attackers fled faster than they had arrived, facing the measured and effective counter by Pakistan’s brave forces.

She emphasized that Pakistan has historically played a constructive role in promoting Afghanistan’s development, peace, and welfare of its people.

However, she condemned the attacks as a blatant violation of international law and the agreements of the Afghan administration.

The minister lauded the armed forces, led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for demonstrating professional military expertise and effective defense of the homeland, comparing it to a historic battle for truth and justice.

She noted Pakistan’s sacrifices in combating terrorism and its continued contributions to regional and global peace.
