ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has instructed the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) to fully support law enforcement agencies in identifying and deporting illegal foreign nationals.

He made the remarks while chairing a meeting at NADRA headquarters in Islamabad.

The minister emphasized the need for swift identification of individuals who have unlawfully acquired Pakistani citizenship and their removal from the national database.

He praised NADRA’s progress over the past two years and called for the introduction of more advanced services to improve public convenience.

Naqvi also suggested that NADRA offices should be constructed on government-owned land rather than rented properties.

During the meeting, officials highlighted recent efforts to enhance service delivery. These include canceling millions of identity cards belonging to deceased individuals, setting a 30-day timeframe to resolve ID-related issues, and blocking mobile SIMs registered in the names of deceased people with the assistance of PTA.
