Summary Barrister Salman Safdar met the PTI founder at Adiala Jail for 50 minutes after court orders, to discuss legal strategy in the ongoing Al-Qadir Trust case appeals.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Barrister Salman Safdar held a 50-minute meeting with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
According to sources, the PTI founder was brought from his cell to the jail’s conference room for the consultation. The meeting took place in compliance with orders issued by the Islamabad High Court.
Barrister Salman Safdar had approached the court seeking permission to meet his client in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case. The court subsequently directed jail authorities to facilitate the meeting.
Sources said the purpose of the ملاقات was to consult on legal strategy ahead of key appeals in the Al-Qadir case, which are currently under hearing at the Islamabad High Court.
Following the meeting, Barrister Salman Safdar left the jail premises without speaking to the media.
