KARACHI (Dunya News) - Annual matric examinations have commenced today (Friday) across Karachi under the Board of Secondary Education, with more than 380,000 students appearing in the exams.
Authorities have made special arrangements in all 530 centers to ensure a transparent and well-organized examination process. For the timely delivery of question papers, 25 hubs have been established across 18 towns of the city.
Strict security measures have also been implemented around examination centres. According to officials, all necessary preparations have been completed to conduct the exams smoothly.
A monitoring cell has been set up at the Commissioner’s Office following a request from the board administration. The Controller of Examinations confirmed that Section 144 has been imposed around exam centres to prevent any untoward incidents.
It is noteworthy that the matric exams were initially scheduled to begin on April 7 but were later postponed to April 10. The exams are being conducted in both morning and afternoon shifts.
