ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan has announced the suspension of all court proceedings at its Principal Seat in Islamabad today (Thursday), in view of the closure of the Red Zone and the potential difficulties it may cause for lawyers, litigants, and court staff.
According to a press release issued by the court, no cases will be heard today (Thursday), and the cause list for April 23 will be treated as cancelled.
The statement further said that all officers and staff of the court will perform their duties from home and have been directed not to leave their stations.
However, the court’s four branch registries will remain open as usual, where judicial and administrative matters will continue to be handled.
