(Dunya News) - Pakistan and China have signed multiple memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation across key sectors.

The signing ceremony was attended by Asif Ali Zardari along with senior officials including Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar and Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi.

The agreements cover areas such as construction machinery, animal health, and medical technology. Officials stated that trilateral cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will help promote the supply of construction machinery and equipment, while both sides will explore investment opportunities for setting up factories in Pakistan.

A documentary highlighting 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship was also screened at the event.

Several organizations, including Al-Hassan Trade Establishment, Sany International Development, and Henan Jialong International Technology, signed MoUs to strengthen collaboration. Additionally, a joint project was agreed upon for the supply of animal vaccines, including those for foot-and-mouth disease, along with cooperation on implementing track and trace systems for livestock in Pakistan.

In the healthcare sector, Dr. Ziauddin Hospital signed an MoU with Shenzhen Weibang Technology to promote the use of intelligent robotics in clinical medicine, marking a step forward in medical innovation between the two countries.
