PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that Sohail Afridi will continue to serve as Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that those running a campaign against him will fail.
Speaking to media representatives, Barrister Gohar stated that Sohail Afridi was nominated for the position by PTI founder Imran Khan and is performing well in his role.
Responding to a question, he reiterated that Afridi would remain in office and those opposing him would be disappointed and unsuccessful.

He further said that Sohail Afridi enjoys full support of the party and dismissed reports of any forward bloc within PTI.
It is noteworthy that two days earlier, National Assembly member Sher Afzal Marwat had announced plans to challenge the selection of Sohail Afridi as Chief Minister.
