The report also claimed that the Taliban regime suspended mobile services in Badakhshan in an attempt to conceal alleged abuses during the unrest.

Experts said the killing of civilians by Taliban forces has raised concerns over the safety and security of Afghan citizens under the current regime.

Analysts further alleged that under the pretext of anti-narcotics operations, Taliban authorities are expanding illegal drug-related activities through extortion and seizures.
