KARACHI (Dunya News) – Cocaine queen Anmol alias Pinky was sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand on Friday in multiple narcotics cases and a murder case.

According to police officials, the accused was brought under tight security to the Judicial Complex established inside Karachi Central Jail, where investigating officers from Darakhshan, Gizri, and Baghdadi police stations also appeared before the court.

Investigators informed the court that progress had been made during the ongoing probe and further information was being collected in relation to the cases.

The investigation officer stated that additional action was being taken in light of the findings gathered so far and requested an extension in physical remand to complete the inquiry process.

However, after hearing the matter, the court ordered that the accused be sent to jail on judicial remand and directed investigating officers to submit challans in the respective cases.

Police said the suspect had been presented before the court in connection with a total of 18 cases involving allegations related to drugs and murder.

Anmol was arrested earlier this month in Karachi in connection with two cases pertaining to the possession of narcotics and an unlicenced weapon. She had already been booked in multiple criminal cases prior to her arrest, taking the number of cases active against her to over a dozen.
