QUETTA (Dunya News) – The first surgery of Dr Mahnoor, who sustained injuries in an acid attack in Quetta, was successfully carried out on Wednesday during which skin grafting has been performed on the face of acid attack victim.
According to hospital sources, plastic surgeons will continue the grafting procedure in stages. A medical team conducted Dr Mahnoor’s third comprehensive examination. She has injuries on her face, including, lips, nose and around her eyes.
Meanwhile, the protest by Young Doctors Association (YDA) against the acid attack incident continued for the fourth day in government hospitals across Balochistan. The doctors demanded that medical staff be provided security.
