NEW YORK (Dunya News) – Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including security, police training and cybercrime, during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Bangladeshi counterpart Salahuddin Ahmed in New York.
The two ministers held detailed discussions on the Iran-US conflict and the evolving situation in the Middle East, exchanging views on regional developments and their implications.
They also discussed expanding cooperation in the training of police officers and launching exchange programmes. Both sides agreed to strengthen collaboration to combat cybercrime and online fraud.
The Bangladeshi interior minister appreciated Pakistan's constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan's leadership had played a significant role in promoting peace, adding that the two countries should take advantage of new opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
