TEHRAN (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with General Ahmad Vahidi, head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, during his official visit to Tehran.
According to the Interior Ministry spokesperson, Naqvi and General Ahmad Vahidi discussed the situation in the Middle East and exchanged views on developments in the region.
Naqvi is currently in Tehran on an official visit, where his meetings with the Iranian leadership and senior security officials are continuing, the spokesperson said.
Earlier, the federal interior minister held a detailed meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni. The two sides discussed bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields and the overall situation in the region.
Naqvi’s meetings with Iranian officials are taking place amid continued developments in the Middle East.
