KOHAT: (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march, led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, has reached Kohat as participants prepare to leave for Peshawar on Tuesday (today).
Addressing the participants, Afridi said decisions made in ‘closed door’ would not be acceptable, adding that the party would announce its future plan of action in Swabi.
He said the demands raised by the protesters were legitimate and constitutional.
Afridi also stated that he could not be bought “even with all the wealth in the world,” reiterating his position on the ongoing political situation.
The chief minister further said that the T20 match would begin on October 8. The march is continuing towards Peshawar, with participants expected to proceed from Kohat as part of the ongoing political activity.

Before leaving DI Khan, Gandapur urged participants to keep the protest peaceful, maintain discipline and avoid violence, vandalism or confrontation with law enforcement personnel. He said the party would follow a “live and let live” policy during the march and directed workers not to take the law into their own hands.
