Mehak defeated the chief minister in just 15 moves
KARACHI (Dunya News) - National junior chess champion Mehak Maqbool on Saturday defeated Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in a friendly chess match.
Mehak, a student of public sector school, defeated the chief minister in just 15 moves.
CM Murad Ali Shah congratulated Mehak Maqbool on remarkable performance during the play.
Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah, Sports Minister Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar and other officials concerned were also present on the occasion.

Earlier, Murad Ali Shah had invited Mehak to play the match to recognise her achievement.
Mehak recently claimed the Under-18 title to become Pakistan’s junior chess champion.
It merits mention here that Murad Ali Shah is a member of the International Chess Federation since 1992 and he is a skilled chess player.
He praised Mehak for excelling in both academics and chess while studying at a government school.
