KARACHI (Dunya News) - Quetta Gladiators defeated Lahore Qalandars by six wickets in the 26th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11.
Chasing a target of 135 runs set by Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators comfortably reached the total in the 17th over, losing four wickets.
The Gladiators had a shaky start to their innings, as opening batter Shameel Hussain was dismissed for a duck, while captain Saud Shakeel managed just one run.
However, Rilee Rossouw played a crucial unbeaten knock of 60 runs, while Hasan Nawaz contributed a solid 49 runs to steer the team to victory.
Earlier, at the National Cricket Stadium in Karachi, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and opted to bat first against Quetta Gladiators.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for 134 runs in the final over.
Haseebullah Khan was the top scorer with 33 runs, followed by Usama Mir (22), Fakhar Zaman (20), Abdullah Shafique (17), and Sikandar Raza (15).
For Quetta Gladiators, Jahandad Khan and Usman Tariq claimed three wickets each, while Alzarri Joseph took two wickets and Saqib Khan picked up one.
So far in the tournament, Lahore Qalandars have played five matches, winning two and losing three.
Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, have played six matches, securing two wins and suffering four defeats.
