Summary Bangladesh batter Litton Das has been ruled out of the remaining ODI series against Zimbabwe after failing to recover from a hamstring injury and fitness concerns.

DHAKA (Dunya News) – Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing ODI series against Zimbabwe after failing to recover from a hamstring injury.

Litton was initially sidelined for the opening ODI on July 6, but continued fitness concerns have now ruled him out of the entire three-match series. He will remain in Dhaka to continue his rehabilitation.

Bangladesh team physiotherapist Baizid Islam Khan said Litton was not fit enough to return despite undergoing a fitness test.

"Litton Das missed the first ODI and is still not match fit. He underwent a fitness assessment today, but the results were not satisfactory," Khan said.

He added that with the remaining ODIs scheduled in quick succession, Litton is not expected to regain full fitness during the series, prompting the decision to rule him out of the final two matches.
