LONDON (Dunya News) - The average price of diesel in the United Kingdom has reached a record level of almost £2 per litre, amid the continuing impact of the war between the United States and Iran.
According to Arab media reports, the average UK diesel price stood at 199.52 pence per litre during the week ending October 5.
The latest increase surpassed the previous record of 199.22 pence per litre, which was set in July 2022 following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The new price is 0.30 pence per litre higher than the previous record.
