Summary Gold prices surged in Pakistan as per tola rate jumped Rs4,600 to Rs477,762, while silver rose to Rs8,270 amid global market fluctuations and Iran-US talks.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices witnessed a significant jump in both local and international markets on Monday.
The price of gold per tola increased by Rs4,600, pushing the new rate to Rs477,762.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs3,943, reaching Rs409,603 in the local market.
In the international bullion market, gold prices rose by $46 per ounce, taking the new global rate to $4,554 per ounce.
Market analysts linked the fluctuations to developments surrounding possible progress in talks between Iran and the United States, which also contributed to a decline in global oil prices.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs236, bringing the new rate to Rs8,270.
