KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices moved higher in local bullion markets after a one-day break, while silver recorded a decline, according to the latest rates issued by market authorities.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,300 per tola, taking the new rate to Rs476,162 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,115, reaching Rs408,232 in the local market.
In contrast, silver prices witnessed a downward trend. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs21 and settled at Rs8,013.
Meanwhile, international gold prices also registered an increase. In the global market, gold gained $13 per ounce, pushing the price to $4,538 per ounce.
The latest movement in precious metal prices reflects fluctuations in both local and international markets, with gold continuing its upward trajectory while silver posted a modest decline.
