ANF arrests five peddlers, seizes over 24kg narcotics

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) claims to have arrested five peddlers during countrywide operations.
ANF officials recovered over 24 kilogramme drugs during the operations. An ANF spokesperson said that 5kg hashish was recovered from a public transport on M-1 Motorway Toll Plaza near Islamabad.
The hashish was recovered from the residents of Bhakkar and Mianwali in the bus.
Similarly, 3.6kg hashish was recovered from a resident of Mardan near Kamalpur. Another suspect was arrested from Faisalabad with 12kg hashish and 300g methamphetamine (ice).
The ANF officials said that 3.3kg hashish was also recovered from a motor bike rider in Mianwali. Cases have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
