Two robbers arrested after 'encounter' in Hyderabad

Fugitive tracked down from Sialkot airport
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested two suspected robbers after an ‘encounter’, Dunya News reported here on Sunday.
Police near railway station gave signal to a suspected motorcycle, but its riders instead of complying with the police order opened fire on them, which was returned in a befitting manner.
As a result of the firing, a robber sustained injuries, who was later arrested along with his accomplice. Stolen valuables and weapons were seized from them. Further investigation was under way.
The suspects have been identified as Wakeel and Shehbaz. According to law enforcers, the outlaws were wanted in dozens of heinous crimes.
FUGITIVE ARRESTED FROM AIRPORT
Sialkot police claimed to track down a proclaimed offender when he was planning to leave the country. A spokesman for Punjab Police Special Operations Cell said the fugitive identified as Umer was in PNIL list, and involved in shooting at and injuring a citizen with a sophisticated weapon. He was arrested from Sialkot Airport.
