Security guard guns down citizen after altercation in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A private security guard gunned down a citizen after an altercation over an issue in North Nazimabad here on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Walid. His body was shifted to hospital for medicolegal procedures. The accused was giving duty at a nearby bungalow. On the day of the incident, he scuffled with Walid, which later led him to kill the citizen.

Having being informed, police scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation after arresting the security guard. Further investigation was underway.

Murder of citizens at the hands of security guard is not unusual. Such cases are frequently reported in the media. The companies who hire security guards are time and again given instructions by the authorities concerned to comply with rules and regulations to induct security guards.
