ANF arrests six suspects in seven nationwide operations, seizing 255kg hashish and thousands of drug tablets. Cases registered under Anti-Narcotics Act 1997.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested six suspects during seven separate operations conducted in different parts of the country.
According to an ANF spokesperson, the operations were carried out in Gujrat, Haripur, Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, Mastung, and Lahore as part of an ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking networks.
Officials revealed that 255 kilograms and 300 grams of hashish were recovered during one of the operations.
In further actions, authorities seized 347,500 tramadol tablets weighing a total of 240 kilograms, along with 49,800 Nexus tablets weighing 18.150 kilograms.

The spokesperson stated that the arrested suspects confessed to selling narcotics to students of educational institutions, raising serious concerns about drug distribution targeting youth.
Moreover, cases have been registered against the accused under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997, and further investigations are underway.
