KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) - Four people were killed and three injured in a clash between two groups in Ranipur Katcha area here on Saturday.
According to police, the bloody clash took place in the Ranipur Katcha area, where shots were fired between two groups over an old enmity, killing four people, including a woman, on the spot, while three others were injured.
Due to animosity, both groups, including the Juneja community, opened fire on each other's homes. The bodies of all the deceased and three injured were shifted to Gambat Hospital.
Locals said a large contingent of police reached the scene, controlled the firing from both sides and set up checkposts.
Locals added that the two groups have been feuding over land disputes for a long time and so far, seven people from both communities have been killed.
