LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Crime Control Department (CCD) killed six alleged suspects in three separate police encounters in a single day in Lahore.
After reported encounters in Chuhng and Iqbal Town, another alleged shootout took place in Defence, where CCD officials stopped three motorcyclists during a checkpoint operation.
According to officials, the suspects opened fire as soon as they saw police, leading to an exchange of gunfire in which two suspects were killed.
The deceased were identified as Bashir Odh and Abdul Ghafoor.
Police said the killed suspects belonged to Burewala, while efforts were underway to arrest the third suspect who allegedly opened fire.
