GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Two suspected dacoits were killed in an encounter with Crime Control Department (CCD) police on Thursday.
The alleged outlaws have been identified as Abbas and Fayaz. They were wanted in cases pertaining to robbery, murder, attempted murder and other serious crimes. They had killed an eight-year-old girl during a burglary and injured a CCD police.
The accused were on the run; police were pursuing them and were traced in Chakwal, where CCD killed them in an exchange of fire. Weapons and looted valuables were seized from them.
Further investigation was underway. Police were conducting raids for the arrest of their accomplices. They were history-sheeters and wanted in dozens of cases of heinous crimes.
