NAWAB SHAH (Dunya News) – A suspected dacoit was exterminated in an exchange of fire with police in KB Section Police jurisdiction here on Sunday.
The suspect identified as Ejaz Chandio was complicit in the murder of a constable and wanted in over 15 cases of heinous crimes.
During the shootout his three accomplices managed to escape under the cover of darkness. Police have formed a team to arrest them.
Police were informed that some suspected elements were hiding in an area and planning to loot people. Having being informed, police rushed to the site.
To see the law-enforcers approaching towards them, the dacoits opened fire. Police in their defence retaliated and killed one dacoit.
