LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif expressed optimism over the country's economic trajectory, noting improvements in economic indicators and a reduction in inflation as positive signs for the nation.
Along with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the discussion centred on the overall national situation, ongoing development initiatives in Punjab, and public service projects.
In his remarks, Nawaz Sharif emphasised that sincere intentions attract divine assistance, stating, "Serving the public is the greatest form of worship, and its reward comes solely from Allah."
The former premier highlighted the significant rise in the stock market, pointing out that the index, which once stood at 30,000 points, has now reached 120,000-point mark, reflecting sustained economic growth.

Sharif further commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's diligent efforts, noting substantial progress in institutional and systemic reforms. He expressed gratitude that Pakistan's downward trajectory had been halted, attributing this turnaround to effective governance and policy measures.
