ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The holy month of Ramazan is just a few days away. 

Muslims across the globe wait anxiously for the holy month. 

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted the sighting of moon for the coming month on March 1. Therefore, Ramazan will begin on March 2. 

It says the Ramazan moon is not likely to be sighted on Feb 28. At the end of this day, the total age of the moon will be 13 hours and 12 minutes. The age of moon should be 19 hours for any sighting, it adds.  

The department says there will be cloudy forecast on Shaban 29. 

The final announcement in this regard will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
