Vessel carrying 65 sinks off Libyan coast
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A boat carrying Pakistani citizens capsized near the coast of Libya.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pakistani Embassy in Libya reported that 65 Pakistani nationals were on the boat, which overturned near the Marsa Dela port.
A spokesperson stated that a team from the Pakistani Embassy in Libya has been immediately dispatched to the site of the incident. The embassy is also working to gather further details about the Pakistani victims.
The Foreign Office added that the Crisis Management Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been activated to monitor the situation closely.
