PM Shehbaz arrives at Azerbaijani Presidential Palace for meeting with President Aliyev

BAKU (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Monday has arrived at the Zagulba Presidential Palace in Azerbaijan for a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev.
Upon arrival at Zagulba Palace, President Ilham Aliyev personally welcomed PM Shehbaz Sharif at the main entrance. The two leaders exchanged a warm handshake before proceeding with the meeting.
A guard of honor was presented to PM Shehbaz, during which the national anthems of both countries were played. Later, both leaders proceeded to the bilateral meeting which will follow the delegation-level talks to discuss areas of mutual interest and cooperation.
They will also witness a ceremony to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz, along with a high-level delegation, is on a two-day official visit here at the invitation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This is the prime minister’s second visit to Azerbaijan since assuming office in March 2024.
