PPSC chairman presents annual report to Punjab Governor

Governor commended PPSC’s role in recruitment of candidates on merit for various posts
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Chairman Lt. Gen. (retd) Abdul Aziz called on Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Wednesday and presented annual report 2024 during the meeting at the Governor's House.
PPSC Secretary Afzaal Chaudhry was also present in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Khan said that transparency and supremacy of merit in institutions are very important for good governance in the country. He commended Punjab Public Service Commission’s role in recruitment of candidates on merit for various posts.
He said that the PPSC is a credible institution. He underscored the need for further improvement particularly leveraging Information Technology to enhance efficiency.
The PPSC chairman apprised the governor of the reforms undertaken for the betterment of the institution. He said that they are promoting digitalisation to enhance the efficiency of the commission.
